We use imported cathode assembly equipment to cast cathode steel bars into cathode carbon blocks with phosphorus pig iron, so as to let the cathode carbon blocks closely contact the steel bars. This will bring merits like low contact resistance, high oxidation resistance, etc. The cell voltage is lowered by 0.03V compared to the original, the furnace bottom voltage is lowered to 200±20MV; this has significant effects in helping the electrolytic cells to run stably, enhancing current and prolonging the service life of electrolytic cells; take the 300KA series graphitized cathode electrolytic cell as an example, the current drain is 12000kwh/T.
